Guido Callegari graduated in Law, with full marks, at the University of Pavia in 1985. He attended courses for foreign students at the Centre International d'Études Français of the University of Nice and in 1991 was awarded a Diploma in Intellectual Property and EC Antitrust Law by the City of London Polytechnic. He is a member of the Milan Bar and is admitted to plead before the Italian Supreme Court and the other top level Courts in Italy.
In 1987 Guido Callegari worked at the Legal Department of Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A (Generali Group), and was in-house counsel of Siemens Telecomunicazioni S.p.A. (Siemens Group) in 1988 and 1989.
In 1990 he joined the Firm, becoming a Partner in 1996. Guido Callegari has developed a recognised expertise of employment and pension law and leads teams of professionals devoted to such expertises. He is also familiar with M&A, commercial law and industrial relations and has been advising multinational and Italian groups in their corporate and reorganisation operations in Italy. In particular he has advised companies in areas such as building materials, chemicals and plastics, automotive, electronics, retail and garments.
In the years 1999 through 2001 he taught Commercial Cases at the Legal Practice Gymnasium of the Milan State University and since 2001 he has been appointed professor of Commercial Practice and Cases at the School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions of the Milan State University.
He is the author of legal works and papers, frequent speaker at legal conferences and lecturer at seminars.
