Gianni Forlani graduated in Law with top marks at Genoa University in 1969. After a number of professional experiences and internships abroad, he commenced legal practice in Genoa and then moved to Milan. He is a founding partner of the Firm.
His main areas of interest are in the field of corporate law and M&A, where he is specially interested in the negotiation and business organisation aspects, including corporate reorganisations, and the relevant tax, international and regulatory aspects relating thereto. He has also developed a broad experience in the sector of retailing and related commercial agreements having assisted for many years important groups dealing in such areas, as well as in regulatory and real estate aspects connected to such fields of activity.
Gianni Forlani has a broad experience in international deals, having assisted on a constant basis both foreign investors in Italy and Italian investors abroad, as well as of litigation in his areas of specific competence. He has frequently represented the Firm in international initiatives and is a member of the Legal and Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
Gianni Forlani leads a team specialising in corporate matters and related litigation.
He has held professional appointments in important companies both as Director and as fully qualified Registered Auditor.
He is member of the International Bar Association and of the American Bar Association.
