Giuseppe Manzo graduated in law from the University of Siena (magna cum laude), after having spent the academic year 1995-1996 at the Queen Mary and Westfield College of the University of London.

In 1999, he obtained, the Magister Juris in European and comparative law at St Catherine's College, University of Oxford. The same year, he commenced practice with Bonelli Erede Pappalardo in Milan and Rome and, subsequently, with Allen & Overy in Rome and Amsterdam. In September 2005 he participated in the opening of Barenghi & Paton becoming partner in 2008.

Giuseppe specialises in corporate and commercial transactions and, particularly, in international joint ventures, domestic and cross-borders acquisitions, transfers of going concerns and commercial contracts, as well as in competition law. He has acted for major domestic and multinational corporations in relation to large industrial and energy projects and has gained a particular expertise in the regulatory and contractual aspects of the oil and LNG businesses.

He is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, and has written articles on corporate law and intellectual property.
