Our Firm assists corporate and individual clients on all aspects of Italian and European immigration law.

Working closely with the Employment, Corporate and Tax practices of the Firm, our Immigration Team deals with all corporate immigration issues and procedures, such as:

  • Hiring of highly-specialised foreign personnel
  • International secondment or transfer of employees to/from Italy
  • Management of expatriates
  • Inter-company mobility of employees and directors.

Our multi-disciplinary approach provides our clients with an all-round assistance.

Our Firm also provides immigration law advice and assistance to foreign individuals intending to reside, invest or start a new business in Italy. We identify the legal solution that best suits the clients’ needs (such as the so-called “Investor Visa” or “Start-up Visa”, recently introduced), and assist them with all relevant accomplishments in order to obtain the visa and, once in Italy, a residence permit.

Our Firm is one of the few business law firms in Italy that already has a track-record with the so-called “EU Blue Card” visa and residence permits for highly-specialised employees.

We also assist clients with all related family reunification issues, offering a complete service to the clients’ family members as well.

We are expert in Italian citizenship law and assist individuals and families in the acquisition or recognition of Italian citizenship.

On a daily basis, our Immigration Team works in close coordination with our office in Moscow, which, since many years, continues to be a true bridge between our Russian clients and Italy.

Italian Immigration Law is a complex and cross-sectorial field, which requires an in-depth knowledge of the relevant legal framework and, above all, a multi-disciplinary experience and approach.

Working closely with the Employment, Corporate, Administrative and Tax practices of the Firm, our Immigration Team is constantly updated with the latest legislative news and offers a comprehensive service advising and assisting clients in a cost-effective manner.

Last but not least, we are proud to say that part of the revenues generated by our Immigration practice are reinvested by the Firm in pro bono activities in favour of refugees and asylum-seekers.
