ItaliaOggi has dedicated an in-depth article to the seven-year term of Roberto Rustichelli as President of the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM), which ended on May 4, and to the challenges awaiting the next regulator.

According to the latest data, AGCM estimates benefits of around €9 billion for businesses and consumers, with over €208 million in compensation distributed to more than 2 million consumers. Reports exceeded 172,000, showing steady growth (+20% per year and +150% compared to 2019).

Roberto A. Jacchia, among the professionals interviewed by ItaliaOggi on the economic impact of regulation, notes that:

What will be the new challenges for antitrust in an increasingly complex economic and regulatory landscape?
